My graduation speech

" If I could say a few words, I could be a better public speaker."- The Simpsons ( this is for you, Mr. Carro)

We all remember the quote from Forrest Gump:  "Life is a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get." When I look back at my years at Hynes and Golf, I see all these chocolates in a box that I have yet to discover. At the start of the year, I was anxious and didn't know what to expect.  But when I look at the box, I don't realize how many good and bad chocolates there are until it is time for each one. Each chocolate represents the memories and adventures we have had. All the good and bad memories have been lessons for each and every one of us. All the tests, homework, studying, and stress have pushed up to our limits but look. We are here now.
Now I am ready for a new box of chocolates. High school is going to be huge for some of us and it's exciting. But looking back at the memories we all had here together, it's sad to leave. We all have our inside jokes with teachers and/or friends. The teachers have pushed us to do our hardest and I personally thank every one of the teachers for making all of us stronger and putting all efforts forth. The memories....well the memories are a big part of us. You will never know what each box will bring you. We could be talking to friends and then the next thing you'll know, we are saying "remember at the start of the year when this happened". I don't think I realized how much these memories matter. After Golf, some of us may be going our separate ways. Some of us might be staying together. Even though we all are doing something different, we all will be together with these crazy memories. And when I say crazy, I mean CRAZY. But good luck to everyone no matter if we are going to be together or not. Now I have mentioned chocolates a lot, no I am not hungry, it is just something that resembles our adventures here at Golf. Once again, good luck to the class of 2017 and I hope you enjoy your new box of chocolates.

My goals for the end of the year

I don't have many goals for the end of the year because life goes how it goes. I am super worried about the finals. All I am afraid of is if I do bad, then it will effect my grade badly. But I really want to enjoy this summer because otherwise it will go by so fast and you will start high school. I hope I meet new people during the summer so I will go into high school with more friends, or a acquaintances.
I hope after Golf, I can relax a little bit. I want to just relax and then I will be a happy camper ahahah.

Letter to my 5th grade self

HMMMM, this is supposed to be about advice. So that is what I am going to do. If I could give myself advice when I was younger, I would say that be careful who you tell things to. If the wrong things get out to the wrong people, then something bad will happen/might already have happened. I would say to start good study habits now so you are just used to studying so long for these tests, especially in 8th grade. I would tell myself to never be someone else you are't. Just in general ( I may have been someone else or maybe not) always stay true to who you are. Don't change for anyone else. You don't need to change for someone to like you. Also myself should know that I don't need to wear headbands every single day, like I did in 5th grade. I also need to convince my mom to get myself contacts ASAP. Always help out with family; this is just a PSA to everyone. Family is the one of the most important/is the most important thing in your life. They will always be there for you.

It's complicated....school and friends

It gets very complicated when I think about North and new friends. When I get to North, which is so soon, I will meet a ton of new people. Yes. But what about my old friends. Everything does change in high school and I'm not sure I am ready for the curve balls that get thrown my way. When I go into high school, people might be moving far away, going to a different high school, or other things so it's best to treasure the time you have with them. I have so many emotions about high school, it's hard to put into words. So I have one word to describe it. COMPLICATED. The end :)

This is a free topic so I think I will talk about

It took me a while to figure out what I want to write, but I finally made up my mind. Family is so important. Whether it's a little stupid thing or something very big, they will always be by my side. They support me through everything and they always encourage me. We support each other whether it's for school or something serious happened. I have older siblings so soon they will all be moved out, but they always visit and we will go and do something together. The best times are just having everyone home and talking. We used to Friday Family Game Night, and they were so much fun because we just would be having fun and not be worried or stressed about anything. I might have fights or argue with them but at the end of the day, I'll love them still. We have our inside jokes, insecurities, and problems.Yes, but we are always willing to help each other out in whatever way they need.
I don't know how I could get through more then half my problems if I didn't have them. I just rely on their advice and experience so much. Like for an example, I feel like each day I learn something new about a sport or what I need to do/know in high school. The small things like that just make me feel more confident in anything. So this is for you, Kristin, Tim, and Caitlin (and Lily💙).
~Thank you

Eulogy to my Great Uncle

My uncle was an amazing man. He had the most positive attitude towards everything. He fought for his whole life because he had a lot of heart problems. We always said he had nine lives because that was really what happened. He passed away on August 17, 2016. I will always remember that day. And it was only like a couple days before school started. I never understood how important he was in my life until it was too late.
He ALWAYS dressed nice, no matter what. It was so rare to see him in jeans. He was always so proper and would always be willing to make you smile. He was friends with everyone, really. He would never shut down opportunity to help someone! Whenever I would go shopping with my aunt, I would come back and he would always want to see my clothes. He would have a new response for every different thing. He would always ask what my favorite thing was. My uncle was one of the most important people in my life and he will continue to be.

Magical Meeting

I would die if I met these three people. Jesse Lee Soffer. Jennie Finch. Sophia Bush. Jesse is a person that acts in one of my favorite shows, which is "Chicago P.D." I love his role and I would be starstruck. Jennie Finch is a professional softball player that has played on the Olympic team and teaches kids all around the world. She inspires me to do better! And lastly I would love to meet Sophia Bush. Sophia is also a actress on "Chicago P.D." She is very strong and she never lets anyone get to her. These three people would be so much to have a meeting with and to hang out with.

Hmm... Best Field Trip

Let's see, I don't remember a lot of field trips. I think I have short term and long term memory loss. Anyway I think my favorite field trip was when we were in Springfield. We had to be up super early, I think we had to be at school s o'clock in the morning. Let me just tell you I was so tired and I have never woken up that early before inn my lie so that is hopefully on in a lifetime experience! Anyway we had these coach buses and we brought all this food and things to do on the long car ride. I personally brought movies for the whole coach bus to watch on out individual TV's. Anyway everyone pretty much brought their headphones to listen to music. But our driver was so nice, she kept blasting throughout the whole day and she was just so much fun. Going to the places like the memorial and etc were fun too but the most fun part was the driving! I know, usually this is the most boring part but in this case it was not! Plus the bus had wifi so EVEN BETTER!!

The Proposal Movie Review

The Proposal is a movie that will lift your spirits and make you laugh all the time. The Proposal has a sense of humor and shows that if you get to know someone better, you will get to see a different side of them. You might work with them or are casually friends with them, but the more you know, the better the friendship you'll have. Margret is a work-alcoholic and does anything to get the job done. She has never been loved and is always in charge of everything. As her trip goes, she realizes there is a life without work, hanging gout with family and such. This is a movie worth watching because of how much family matters.

Image result for music quotes  I love this quote because music is my therapy. I literally listen to music every single day. When I am in a bad mood, it helps me come to back to the crazy person I am! It's weird but when I need to tell someone something, I just listen to music. I usually get my feelings out by listening to music.... I know, it is weird. I don't know what I would do without music. I have a million playlists so each day I can pick one that I feel like! Music has helped me get out of reality, if that makes sense. Meaning when I listen to music, I don't think about my problems. When music is on, there is no friend problems, homework problems, stress and basically anything which is good! It takes my mind a vacation for a little bit and trust me, that is a good thing.

Political Process

I am going to give my honest opinion and I don't mean to offend anyone that feels differently then I do. So, that being said, I think Trump should really be careful about what he says. During the election process, he was very rude to different types of people and that was offending to most. I am not making up excuses for him but I hope he just did that because he wanted to win. But that still doesn't make it okay to say those things he has said. I honestly think that he should apologize now that he is president. He really has nothing to lose! So that is just how I feel, I am not leaning toward either one of them (even though we already have a new president) but this is just a PSA.
